LVI, the military third-party logistics division of LION, has opened a distribution center in Pendergrass.
The Pendergrass U.S. Army Third Party Logistics Distribution Center is the primary location for U.S. Army uniforms and associated clothing items under a contract with the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support.
The 265,000-square foot facility is presently staffed by 50 employees with an anticipated expansion to 75 employees.
The objective of the Pendergrass facility is to “ensure the mission-critical readiness of America’s warfighters with the efficient and effective management and supply of clothing items to the U.S. Army,” according to company officials.
