JACKSON COUNTY PUBLIC MEETINGS

The following local government and community agencies hold regular meetings which are open to the public:

Arcade City Council
7 p.m., second Monday of each month at city hall.

Better Hometown Jefferson
General Meeting
7 p.m. second Tuesday of every month at the Crawford W. Long Museum.

Better Hometown Jefferson
Design Committee
7 p.m. fourth Tuesday of every month at the Crawford W. Long Museum.

BJC Medical Authority
6:30 p.m. fourth Monday of each month.

Braselton City Council
7 p.m., second Monday of each month at city hall.

Commerce Board of Education
7:30 p.m., second Monday of each month at the high school media center. A "work session" meeting is held at 7:30 p.m. on the Thursday prior to the monthly meeting.

Commerce City Council
6:30 p.m., second Monday of each month at the Commerce Civic Center. A work session is held at 6:00 p.m. on the first Monday of each month in the conference room at City Hall.

Commerce Downtown Development Authority
8 a.m., last Wednesday of each month in the Chamber Building in Commerce.

Crawford Long Museum Board of Trustees
Noon, third Monday of each month at the Crawford W. Long Museum.

Commerce Planning Commission
7 p.m., fourth Monday of each month in the Peach Room at the Commerce Civic Center.

Hoschton City Council
7 p.m., first Monday of each month at city hall. A "work session" is held the Thursday before.

Jackson County Area Chamber of Commerce
7:30 a.m. breakfast, first Wednesday of each month at various locations.

Jackson County Board of Commissioners
6 p.m. first and third Monday of each month at jury assembly room in the new courthouse in Jefferson.

Jackson County Board of Education
6 p.m., second Monday of each month at the high school media center. A "work session" is held at 6 p.m. on the Thursday preceding this meeting in the BOE office.

Jackson County Department of Family and Children Services
10 a.m., fourth Wednesday of every other month at DFACS.

Jackson County Family Connection, Inc.
8:30 a.m., fourth Thursday of each month at the Gordon Street Center.

Jackson County Planning Commission
7 p.m., fourth Thursday of each month in the State Courtroom in the Administrative Building in Jefferson.

Jackson County Water and Sewerage Authority
7 p.m., second Thursday of each month at the authority office in Jefferson.

Jefferson Area Business Association
Noon, first Thursday of each month, Jackson Electric Membership Corporation auditorium, Jefferson.

Jefferson Board of Education
4 p.m., second Thursday of each month in the BOE room in the media center of the library.
