The Jefferson City Board of Education voted unanimously to approve a 1.0 millage rate increase in its general budget and a 0.5 millage rate increase in its bond fund.
The 1.0 mill increase will give the board an additional $410,445. The 0.5 mill increase in bonds will give the board an additional $205,223. The new operations millage rate will be set at 15.71 and the bond rate will be 3.845 mills.
