Seven juveniles and seven adults were arrested Saturday night at the Mount Olive Townhomes after deputies responded to a disturbance call.
Deputies observed several people standing outside the residence drinking and when they saw the deputies, many of them ran from the scene. After, further investigation, it was determined that one of the people outside the residence was underage and had been drinking. Deputies met with the homeowner, who stated that they were having a birthday party, and allowed the deputies to enter the residence. Once inside, deputies could smell an odor of marijuana burning and a strong odor of alcohol along with approximately 25 more people.
Deputies located one adult and one juvenile female, unresponsive. A med unit was dispatched and transported the two to a local hospital. Several people were charged with underage possession of an alcoholic beverage. The two homeowners, Joshua Hill and Ellen Chansombath, were also arrested for providing alcohol to minors and disorderly house.
