The Jackson County Lady Panthers volleyball team went into Tuesday night’s match at Apalachee hoping to add another win into their win column with the end of the regular season looming ahead.
The Lady Panthers were scheduled to play not only the Lady Wildcats, but also Clarke Central. Results were unavailable at press time. Check www.mainstreetnewsports.com for scores and updates throughout the week.
Up next for the Lady Panthers is a home stand against Tallulah Falls and Green County on Jackson County’s senior night Thursday. Game time is scheduled for 5 p.m.
Jackson County found themselves in the midst of a four game slide going into last week’s match with Monroe Area. They had lost in their previous pairings with Athens Christian, Jefferson and Buford, dating back to Sept. 11.
Their most recent game, also against Monroe Area, had ended with a loss as well.
Unfortunately, it was the same result on Tuesday night, with the Lady Hurricanes coming out on top 0-2. It was the Lady Panthers’ third loss of the season to Monroe Area.
