Jefferson High School will be presenting its 11th annual Veterans Day Honor Program on Friday, November 9, at 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. in the Jefferson High School Auditorium.
Veterans Day program at Jefferson HS set for Nov. 9
These two programs will be a school-wide assembly. There will be a reception following the program in the media center at approximately 10:45 a.m. for all veterans and their families. Principal Kevin Smith said, “We are inviting all veterans to join us on November 9 for these programs. There will be representatives from all branches of the Armed Forces to help us honor those who have served our country and defended our freedoms.”
Special seating will be available for all veterans and their spouses and families. Veterans planning to attend are asked to contact Raye Jackson at Jefferson High School at 706-367-2881 or 706-367-2884 prior to November 9 to confirm their attendance. “We look forward to honoring all of our veterans in Jackson County,” Smith said.
