18-year-old male arrested on child sex charges in Arcade

AN 18-YEAR-OLD Rambler Inn Road, Jefferson, male was arrested on two child sex charges on Sept. 1 in the City of Arcade.

Benjamin Noah Fountain, was charged with one count of aggravated child molestation and one count of aggravated sexual battery involving the disappearance of a 14-year-old Winder girl, according to an Arcade Police Department incident report. He is being held in the Jackson County jail. Jail records indicate that Fountain's bond is being denied.

I used to know this guy. I used to like him as well, now knowing he did this, i hope he spends enough time in jail to think about what he did a little better.

I know this guy and I hung out with him. I don't see him doing this. There has to be another side to this or somebody is hiding something. He just didn't seem ad this type of guy. I'm praying for the fountain family and Noah.

Amen, RL. Y'all may have looked at him and thought he was a freak, but he's not. Just because he is different doesn't mean he is a freak. He was a good christian guy that I went to church with and our youth group is praying hard for him. How dare you all sit here and judge him when you don't know the whole story, you only can judge him on what the newspaper says, and we all know the newspaper doesn't always tell the whole story. This little clip is very vague so you DON'T know the story. You weren't there. The girl claimed to be 17. And just him being charged with this will follow him forever. Even if/when he is found innocent.

thank you for not judging. Knowing Noah, I KNOW there is more to this story. Love Noah and his family. This is an unjust world. You are supposed to be innocent til proven guilty. I believe in that.

i went to high school with him last yeah and knowing he did this to a little kid< he is a freak < he should rot in a jail cell

I'm not saying anything bad about him. I liked him and all I said was there had to be more to the story. I knew him and he didn't seem like that type of guy.

I wish they would start locking up teenage girls that lie about their age and lure men into their beds.

I totally agree with you. This happened to my best friend. The girls mother even saw him in the house and waited until the morning after to call the cops. If you lie about your age, that should be a punishable crime as well.

to others both sexes, if they dont own a car, have a place of their own and a job plus if they cant buy beer...... best not to get involved..... nothing oood can come of it.....

If the PD would start arresting females for provoking and luring men, there would be a drop in arrests like this.

We like to view men as predators, but often times they are the victims.

look what he did is a grad student messing with a middle school gurl , i bet when the school bus goes by he gits off , sorry in my eyes this is nasty and weird he should take all charges and should be in a jail cell , soory if my opinion affends anyone but think if that was your lil gurl he did that to , he is a CHILD MOLESTER!!!

Have you seen the middle school girls this day and age?

This is a very sad story that happens repeatedly, and the guy always gets blamed when its the girl that's at fault.

It's very hard to tell how old people are, and it's sad that you have to require ID and hope that it's not a fake.

This guy's life is over because this girl decided to be a slut.

i was a junior and senior in high school we never once thought an eight grader or freshman were our age, sorry but only the creepie guys made believe they didnt know, guys like the claw. guys who later in life at 30 and forty got arrested for being predators.... so yeah if one chooses to be blind using the victim defense then they shuld enjoy the pokey.... theres a reason its called the pokey

This boy was my friend and neighbor. I don't believe he meant any harm. I know there's more to the story. Child molester ? He's still a child himself and have you all seen Jackson county teens lately? HELLO? They are usually pregnant by 16 !! We are top rated in the state for teen pregnancy. Please. It takes TWO to tango. Start catching REAL child predators.

to this story an adult was invlved with a minor. here is some advice do not if your an adult put yourself in area that would appear to others you are involved with those that arem not adults..... do not involve them in your daily routines, do not have them sleep over, do not go for rides alne with them. if you are over 17 and others are under 17 or in ant=yway appear so stay away from them,

The laws are too hard on the young folks. If the girl was 17 and he was 21 no one would care. It's very silly. Our laws do more harm than the crimes in many cases.

Anyone who knows Noah and his family will not believe this horrible thing that has happened to him. There has to be much more to the story. Now his life is changed forever and all for just a stupid misunderstanding. What an evil thing to happen to an extremely nice, good family.

Noah just turned 18. He graduated from high school this year. He is not a preditor and this will all come out in time. He didn't go to school in the same county with the girl, so he could only go by what she told him in regards to her age. I think there are a lot of people in this world that need to read the Bible. Judge and be judged.

I've known Noah since he was in middle school. He was there for my family in a time of grief.I do believe he is a good kid.I do believe that there is two sides to this story. There fore everyone doesn't need to be jumping to either conclusion. There are too many factors and scenarios that could have taken place. The cold hard truth is that no one but him and the girl were there and only they know the truth about what took place. I'm praying for both families and the individuals involved.

I've known Noah since middle school and he doesn't seem like the type of person to do this...he is a good person. Noah has always been there for me when I needed someone one and I believe that we need to be there for him and his family now. It hurts me to read the few comments on here where people are judging him and don't know the facts. The few that have judged him are going by what is in the clip above and by what they have heard,if you are going to judge someone and something that happened to them then you need to know all of the facts about what happened. The only ones that know the truth are him and the girl and no one else. So people need to quite judging him until they have the facts. The Bible says, "Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven." I love Noah and his family and are praying for them daily.

Look Noah could not hurt a fly! I should know that since I dated him. I believe that he did not do any of this. Knowing him he was breaking up with her and she got pissed off and said that he did all this stuff to her. But that is just what I think.
