TWO JACKSON COUNTY residents were victims of Internet fraud last week, according to incident reports filed at the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.
Internet fraud attempt hits two in Jackson
Both people reported selling something on the Internet. They received checks with more money than was supposed to be sent. The sender asked that they keep the correct amount of money and write a check for the difference and mail it to them.
