Meet-and-greet with new superintendent set Aug. 12

THE Jackson County School System will hold a meet-and-greet for its new superintendent, John Green, on Sunday, Aug. 12, from 3-5 p.m., at Northeast Church in Braselton. Green replaced Shannon Adams as superintendent. The event is open to the public. The event was initially scheduled at West Jackson Primary School, but was moved to Northeast Church — which is located in the building of the former Zion Baptist Church on Cherry Drive, next to YearOne.
