Janis Mangum and Ramone Gilbert will face off in an Aug. 21 runoff in the sheriff’s race after Tuesday’s primary election. Mangum took 41 percent of the votes on Tuesday with 4,507 votes, while Gilbert had 26 percent or 2,784 votes. Andy Garrison came in third with 24 percent of the votes, or 2,565 votes.
In the Probate Judge race, Sherry Moore, with 3,502 votes, and Donna Sikes, with 3,110 votes, were the top two candidates. Tracy Brooks received 3,032 votes and Donna Geiger received 1,326.
In the Jackson County Board of Commissioners chairman race, Tom Crow defeated incumbent Hunter Bicknell in a 5,792-4,535 vote.

I also despise the statements about a drunk Jesus running around the bible.
Many people just see this as one of the many acts crumbling the foundation that our government was built on... religion aside.
The constitution rights of Americans were in place when these laws were made, and yet they have just suddenly become an issue.
Pretty soon people are going to take all constitution rights to the extreme and instead of voting to remove laws and regulations, citizens will be begging for order.
