SIXTEEN PEOPLE were sentenced in recent State Court proceedings, including the following:
•Charles Douglas Jones, violation of family violence order, 12 months to serve suspended all but 120 days already served so long as deft be banished from Jackson County for remainder of time.
•Andrew Blaine Shields, reckless driving, obstruction, , 120 days probation with credit for time served. Charges of loitering, fleeing and attempting to elude, headlight violation were dismissed.
•Charles Dwayne Helton, fleeing and attempting to elude, speeding, 12 months probation and $2,000 fine. A charge of passing violation was dismissed.
•Tammy Dawn Miranda, driving under the influence less safe, eight days confinement, 12 months probation, 240 hours community service and $1,000 fine.
•Zackery Lee Massey, minor possession of alcohol, six moths probation, $300 fine, essay within 30 days on dangers of alcohol abuse.
•Julian Forrest Armstrong, driving under the influence over legal limit, 10 days confinement, 12 months probation, 240 hours community service and $1,000 fine. Charges of failure to signal and tag light violation were dismissed.
•Don H. McBrayer, simple assault family violence, 12 months probation, $500 fine, suspended $300 of fine upon completion of 12 alcohol/drug evaluation.
•Mandy Noel Baxter, reckless driving, 12 months probation, $1,000 fine.
•James Mitchell Atwell, driving under the influence over legal limit, 24 hours confinement with credit for time served, 12 months probation, drug/alcohol evaluation, risk reduction program, 40 hours community service and $600 fine.
•Taylor Allen Carithers, underage possession of alcohol, six months probation, 12 drug/alcohol evaluation and $300 fine.
•Ricky Taylor Meads, driving under the influence less safe, 12 months probation, 80 hours community service, drug/alcohol classes, risk reduction program and $800 fine. A charge of failure to maintain lane was dismissed.
•Juan Niguel Ramirez, theft by taking, 12 months probation and $500 fine.
•Karen Whitfield, theft by shoplifting, 12 months probation, $6.42 restitution to Dollar General store, 80 hours community service and $500 fine.
•Stephanie Michelle Everett, driving under the influence less safe, suspended license, 12 months probation, risk reduction program, drug/alcohol evaluation, 40 hours community service and $600 fine. Charges of failure to maintain lane, vehicle to drive on right side of roadway, open container violation, tire requirements, littering were dismissed.
•Sherri Allen, six counts bad checks (Ingles), two counts bad checks (Quality Foods), 12 months probation, restitution and $1,000 fine.
DISMISSED
•Maurice Lee Glasper, pedestrian under the influence.
•James Mitchell Atwell, driving under the influence less safe, failure to maintain lane.
