Man arrested after getting drunk, sleeping at storage facility

AFTER A deputy on patrol near Lewis Braselton Boulevard in Braselton saw an unfamiliar vehicle near storage units where he knew the property manager, he arrested a man for getting drunk and sleeping on the property grounds.

According to a Jackson County Sheriff’s Office incident report, Thomas Schench, 41, of 36 Kerby Circle, Braselton, faces a charge of loitering/prowling after the incident, where he had apparently been told days prior by the property manager that he couldn’t be on the property.

When the deputy stopped to investigate the scene, he found Schench asleep in the driver’s seat of his truck. After waking him up, Schench told the deputy that he decided to stop and drink because it was too hot. He got drunk and decided to sleep there, he said.

Asked why he was drinking in the storage area, Schench said that “he did not really have a reason,” an incident reports states. “He just had no where else to go.”

The deputy called the property manager who said that Schench was supposed to be cleaning out his storage unit and was forbidden to sleep in the storage area. He was arrested and taken to the Jackson County jail. More than $500 was found on him when he was taken in and an open container of vodka was also found.

Indeed sad if that is his situation. This Obama economy has destroyed businesses, put untold millions out of work and created a sense of hopelessness in our once proud country. Employers are boarding up their doors and windows and putting up 'not hiring' signs. How's that hopey-changey thing working for you?

Let's say that your "specifics" are good enough for the sake of an argument. So, if Obama is responsible for those "job killing" regulations, how do you explain to yourself that our economy was in a ditch at the end of Bush era? Let me make it simple to you:
Fact #1: Economy was in a ditch BEFORE Obama's regulations with all conservative principles implemented (no regulations).
Fact #2: Economy is GROWING after Obama's regulations.
Please educate us.

Hope you remember that it was a Pelosi lead House that originated Ocare and the monsterous 2000 page health-care bill. This lead to the historic 2010 mid-term election (revolt) that lead to the Republican takeover of the House.
I'm not sure what form of government you are advocating. I hope you know that our Founders had a strong belief in our Creator and that is reflecting in the Declaration and Constitution.

Joe C - What you don't realize, or maybe you do, is that the damage done by O is all interconnected. I agree this is beyond the sad original point of this small news story. Yes, I am single minded in booting O and Meechelle back to Chicago in Nov. The damage he has done has permeated and effected this entire country. It could be this sad gentleman has other problems that landed him at that storage facility. But methinks he is another victim of the worst POTUS since Carter.

I was ready to move on what I noticed that other thread that said that POTUS doesn't have power to tax??? Huh? Where in the heck have you been this past week? He sure can if he has a willing, insipid Congress that delivers his economy destroying bills like Ocare to his desk. And he surely does and he can pick SCOTUS appointeees which also vote insipidly to wave through the most expansive tax increase in the history of our country.
I still have not figured out why Roberts did what he did. I know that his majority (liberal) opinion can be viewed as strategic but I am not fully convinced yet.
But yes the POTUS certainly has power to tax. Did you miss the news the the O administration has shifted 100s of millions of $s to the IRS to beef up hiring by the 1000s of new agents to harass and dive deep into your private finances, or business finances to be sure you are paying your fair share to Ocare?

by creating regulations in already intact enforcemnet branches and increasing existing enforcement fines he can raise taxes, just as Romney can cut the same taxes by defunding the dpets that use regulations they create as opposed to laws passed by congress and turned into law by the Senate and signed by the ppresident.

a revenue bill is seperate issue from apportioned taxs which direct taxes must be and excise taxes which are optional. (to buy) therefore no apportionment is required, passing a revenue bill without apportionment makes it fil since apportionment is required for Direct taxes that means taxes that are incurred for just being a worker like income tax, unlike tax for which we choose to spend on like food, highway, gas, tolls, liquor, fst food etc

I see Prez Hopey-Changey was out today asking to extend W tax cuts for those below $250k. Some observations:
1) Hasn't O been blaming W for everything? Now he wants to extend W's tax cuts?
2) He's playing class warfare game again by only offering this to those below $250k
3) Says that this will help small businesses. I don't own a smal businesss but if I did I guarantee I would be exceeding $250k in annual revenues, so I guess I'd be out of luck.
4) O must be getting desperate to do play this card.

Have you seen the latest poll of doctors? 83% said they are considering quitting over O-care. 83 of every 100 doctors are seriously considering leaving their practices because of the oppressive, burdensome regulations coming down the pipe. Sad, a man homeless. Denied a drink to help the pain. Great police work. Harming no one.

As for politics, Georgia will again go Republican. There will be no revolution. The only way back is everyone to pull together and go to work. One of the biggest reasons things got better after Reagan was elected was eliminating free money from the government. When people have to go to work then things will improve. Last month 87,000 people were added to the federal disability roles. 80,000 jobs were added. We need to help businesses survive and prosper and cut the freedloaders off. This sounds cold but it works.
