New principal named for NJES

Wednesday, June 13. 2012
An assistant principal at South Jackson Elementary School will become the new principal of North Jackson Elementary School, according to personnel changes approved by the Jackson County Board of Education on Monday. Resa Brooksher, who has been an assistant principal at SJES since 2008, was named principal of NJES. She was previously a kindergarten teacher at SJES. Brooksher is replacing Jamie Hitzges, who was earlier named the school system’s assistant superintendent for finance and information services.
