Perry to run for State Court judge

Jeffrey M. Perry, Jackson County Planning Commission Chairman and Commerce attorney, announces his candidacy for State Court Judge of Jackson County. He is a lifelong resident of Jackson County and has been a managing partner at The Perry Law Firm in Commerce since 2003. Perry received his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia in speech communication and Juris Doctor from Georgia State College of Law. Perry has represented clients in both criminal and civil law.

He has served on the Jackson County Planning Commission for five years and has been elected chairman for the past three. Perry is a member of Jackson County Area Chamber of Commerce, Commerce Kiwanis Club and the Piedmont Bar Association. He is married to Leigh Ann Perry, a third grade teacher at Banks County Elementary School, and they are members of Maysville Baptist Church. Perry said, “The last time the people of Jackson County had a chance to elect their own State Court judge was 24 years ago. I want to give the people of Jackson County a choice. I want to ensure that the people of Jackson County have an independent, fair and competent State Court that will interpret and apply the law fairly and equally to all. I want to maintain the honor, integrity, and dignity of the judges who have previously sat on this honorable bench. I know of no greater honor than to be ‘the People’s Choice’ for State Court Judge of Jackson County.”

I have known Jeff Perry for many years. He was born and raised in Jackson County, and he dearly loves the people of Jackson County. He is not an outsider pretending to be a hometown kid. Jeff Perry definitely has my vote, and I believe he will have the vote of the people! Get out and vote Jackson County!!!

By local attorney, I take it you mean someone from Commerce??? Judge Alexander is a local Jackson County Attorney and he has done an excellent job as State Court Judge since he arrived on the bench!! He was the Governor's choice the first time, this time he is going to be "THE PEOPLE'S CHOICE" not Mr. Perry!

In the case of Payette Idaho, Ish went into said region's Court House, with very scipifec case information *Names of Parties, Dates, etc. .. It helped that Ish were losely connected to the case, even being referrenced during court* and was informed that they, and it seems many, municipalities, have Websites set up, where in, if you have Names/Dates/Locations you can look up Many court recordsContact King's County', by phone or e-mail, and politely explain what you're wanting .. Hint, Ish generally starts said conversations with something along the lines of I'm not sure if you're the right person for Ish to Bother with this, so Please let Ish know if We're in the wrong department' or a tried and true opener is "Ish are dumb as Stumps, so please bear with us" .. This usually puts the person in a nicer frame of mind to be helpfulIf the case involved one or more Big Names' like possibly a Religious Institution, then gaining access to some of their records, be they Public or Private, should help with narrowing down what re looking for Was this answer helpful?

I hope that people know that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree before they vote for Perry. He is going to be just like his daddy, and try to slip things by that he knows he should not. Like his daddy did with the pharmacy deal in Commerce. His daddy is low flying and Jeff will be too!
