A Nicholson man has been charged with felony child molestation in Gwinnett County. Jason Pressley, 28, was released on $10,000 bond Wednesday by a Gwinnett County judge, according to a report by the Gwinnett Daily Post.
Gwinnett police say Pressley exposed himself to a 10-year-old girl in the Duncan Lake subdivision in Buford.
According to The Post, Nicholson Mayor Ronnie Maxwell sent a letter to the Gwinnett court on Pressley's behalf attesting to his good character. Pressley's Army Reserves supervisor also testified to Pressley's character.
A man told an officer on Aug. 21 that his granddaughter was approached by a white male suspect that exposed himself to her, police said.

it would have been dead front on the center!
kind of town would condone this type of behavior??? And this same mayor just made an announcement about the
growth of this city!!!??? I don't think I want my children or any children living in that city!!!!
How would he feel if this had happened to his own grandchild or his daughter????
And what exactly is the name and rank of the so-called
Army Reserves supervisor???
Right is right and wrong is wrong, this is DEFINITELY
WRONG!!!!!
of child molestaion. HUUMM makes me wonder... who cares what a great guy he seems to be. ALL child molesters are friendly you MORON how do you think they get close to children????
Do you actually think he would have been released if there was enough evidence to hold him no matter who wrote a letter Why don't you people get a whole name?
I also agree with worrying about where our children are not only in Sunday School, but school, malls, etc. It's true that some parents seem to have eyes in the back of their heads, but kids are kids and they run where they may. However and wherever they run, they do not need to run into something like that.
If the guy is truly innocent, then God will bless him and his family to make up for the animosity of the comments.
However, when it comes to children "innocent until proven guilty" is not a forefront thought and I do commend people for voicing their opinions and their thoughts. At least we know there are people out there who do look after the children.
FOCUS instead on a child molester that is being patted on the back by a government officials and an invisible Army Reserve supervisor. And, look at Jason's family. They own property on 441 that a Pentecostal Church was just recently opened where the family are members of. Does Jason go here to where they just put in a play area for the children????
FOCUS on how wrong it is to subject a child to the perversion of this idiot guy and pray you know who goes to your church when your children sit in Sunday School.
CHILD MOLESTATION they should have there body part removed so they could not hurt another innocent child. Don't you think then people would stop commiting this crime!!!!!
The newspaper article fueled a fire that I know no boundaries. But, the article gave very very little detail and we really won't know anything more than simply being accused of the crime of exposing himself to a child. To my head and heart, there is not anything "simple" about that though and it is difficult to keep an open mind to the possibility it might be the wrong guy. We don't have all of the facts and I jumped the gun.
If this guy is innocent, then my truest apologies. If he is found guilty, I somewhat agree to the taking away body parts or body functions or something to never have this person ever do it again.
I also became a bit ticked because of a public official that we just read about wanting zoning in a town that he was opposed to upon election. They want this town to grow and prosper in a particular way now. They don't want adult bookstores in the town of Nicholson (was there ever a real threat of this happening???), but they will stand up for a guy accused of emotionally scarring a child by exposing himself. But, again if he is truly innocent then my sincerest apologies.
If he is found guilty, the town official will have a very heavy heart and that is something he will have to live with for the rest of his life.
I say bring in the bookstores, maybe then people will have something to do in Nicholson. This is the 21st century and we still, to this day anyway, have the freedom of speech and the right to read what we want where we want. But, there is no law in any large or small city of this country in support of child molestation whether it is merely exposing to physical touching of a child, ANY CHILD!
My prayers are with the 10 year girl and her family.
1...the child molestation...its hard for me to believe this about jason...they didnt waste time getting him on tv...and as for the moonshiner ...well...we do know the reason for a tiny piece in the paper...i was arrested and my name and address the next week was in the paper...i got inmate mail from another jail from another town..to me this was a bit much to have a persons address in the paper... and out right scared me...my point...i didnt do anything that compared to the moonshining and fire arms...so why the difference???????????
