THE JEFFERSON school board approved a 2012-2013 calendar that subtracts two teacher furlough days. At least that’s the plan.
The calendar, approved at Thursday’s board of education (BOE) meeting, includes 178 instruction days and drops teacher furloughs from eight days to six.
But if the funding is simply not there in the 2012-2013 budget, the system could reinstate those two furlough days.
