Rebecca Morris (2-6-12)

COMMERCE - Rebecca G. Morris, 84, died Monday February 6, 2012.

A native of Alabama, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Kathleen Dickens Gilchrist. She was a telephone operator for Southern Bell and attended Colbert United Methodist Church. Mrs. Morris was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford L. Morris.

Survivors include sons, Mike (Debbie) Morris and Randy Morris; grandchildren, Matt Morris, Catherine Dinsmore, Allison Waddy, John Morris, Ben Morris, and Andrew Morris; and great-grandchild, Charlotte Dinsmore.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday February 8, at Colbert United Methodist Church with the Revs. James Haralson and Hugh Hendrickson officiating. Entombment will follow at the Colbert Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Matt Morris, John Morris, Andrew Morris, Ben Morris, Dustin Dinsmore, and Jacob Waddy.
