NINETEEN band and chorus students from Jackson County Comprehensive High School were recently inducted into the Tri-M International Music and Academic Honor Society.
Tri-M (Modern Music Masters) is sponsored by the National Association for Music Education to recognize outstanding musicianship and academic achievement among high school students.
At JCCHS, membership in Tri-M is open to juniors and seniors who meet strict academic requirements, are enrolled in band or chorus, and demonstrate advanced musicianship, leadership, cooperation, and dependability.
JCCHS students inducted into the honor society area were: Clare Nunley, Angelica Amrozowicz, Alex Winstead, Justin Morgan, Danilo Martinez, Logan Donald, Josh Chastine, Vincent Yang and Preston Miller, Sydney Bain, Guadalupe Guzman, Erin Jenkins, Richie Coulthurst, Keith Kennett, Cody Willis, Charlie Hilton, Kaylan Cochran, Meghan Henry and Sabrina Krebs.
Band directors Miles and Helen Adams and choral director Ryan Maddox are the Tri-M chapter sponsors.
