Woman leaves car on I-85 after it breaks down and returns to find it stolen

A woman said her car was said someone stole her Mercedes Benz after she parked it along I-85 because it broke down.

The woman had called several wrecker companies, but none of them reported towing the vehicle during the 36-hour period that the vehicle was on the side of the roadway, according to the incident report filed at the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.
