Dr. Crenshaw was a great man, physician and friend. I am out of town on business and sadden to hear of his passing my thoughts and prayers go out to Mrs. Crenshaw and family. I always loved visiting with Dr. Crenshaw while he listened about about my current injury or ailment over our many years together, I will never forget that about him. He was a part of Jefferson that can never be replaced or should be forgotten, you will be missed Doc.

I have yet to meet a doctor I have trusted or respected as I did John Crenshaw. He was the best. Jefferson is poorer, and our mourning is deep.

Dr. Crenshaw was truly a compassionate man. My mother, Dories Turner, taught him in third grade. He was so sweet and caring of her as she aged. I will never forget his care and compassion for our family. He will truly be missed. My sympathy goes out to his family.

Dr. Crenshaw was loved by my entie family. We moved from Jackson County in 1983 but were still close enough to go to him when one of us became ill. He was the only doctor that my husband really trusted to care for his health needs. We considered him a wonderful friend. He will truly be missed by all. Our prayers go out to Fran, the two girls and the grandchildren.

This makes me very sad. Dr. Crenshaw was one of the last physicians of days past. He always treated me as if I was part of his family. I would go in to see him for whatever reason and I would leave with great stories of his college days and his professors. You could tell he loved his job and the commitment to his patients, even through his last years, was to our benefit. I was always proud to tell folks my primary care physician was Dr. Crenshaw. Fran, I am very sorry for your loss and I will keep you and your family in my thoughts.

I am sad too of Dr. Crenshaw's death. My whole family went to see him for practically everything. He always fit us in and would take his time with his caring attention. Gee, it's like the end of a chapter in Jefferson's book. My prayers go out to Mrs. Crenshaw and his entire family. He will be missed.
