Thirty-three sentenced in Superior Court hearings in Jackson County

THIRTY-THREE PEOPLE were sentenced in Superior Court hearings in Jackson County last week, including the following:
•Miguel Antonio Rugamas, battery – family violence act: 10 months probation, Family Violence Intervention Program and no violent contact with victim(s).
•Crystal Leah Nash, allowing unlicensed person to drive: $300 fine and 12 months probation.
•James Everett Wheelus, possession of Xanax: $500 fine, four years probation and waive fourth amendment rights.
•Janice S. Mack, battery: $500 fine, 12 months probation and no contact with victim(s).
•Maria Jacqueline Pena, identity theft: $500 fine and four years probation.
•Scotty G. Murphy, habitual violator: $1,000 fine, five years probation and Risk Reduction Program.
•Gregory Eugene Stevens, aggravated assault, three counts cruelty to children, three counts battery – family violence act: $2,000 fine, two years confinement, 15 years probation, Family Violence Intervention Program and no contact with victim(s).
•Matthew Locke Potts, possession of Methadone: $500 fine, four years probation and waive fourth amendment rights.
•Jessica Lynn Latty, entering auto, theft by receiving stolen property: $1,000 fine, five years probation and restitution.
•Richard Dorian Mitchell, giving false name and date of birth: $500 fine and 12 months probation.
•Ricky Curtis Ginn, possession of marijuana more than one ounce: $500 fine and two years probation.
•Steven Tyrone Pruitt, possession of cocaine: $500 fine, four years probation and waive fourth amendment rights.
•Mark Durham, two counts reckless conduct, two counts harassing phone calls: $1,000 fine, four years probation and no contact with victim(s) or his/her home or school.
•Keri Ann Mullins, robbery by intimidation: $2,000 fine, six years confinement, nine years probation and waive fourth amendment rights. Charges of aggravated assault and false imprisonment were dismissed.
•Shaun Joseph Fortson, robbery by intimidation: $2,000 fine, six years confinement, nine years probation, forfeit car to state and waive fourth amendment rights. Charges of aggravated assault and false imprisonment were dismissed.
•Phillip Scott Haire, two counts of first degree cruelty to children: $1,000 fine, 24 months probation and no contact with victim(s).
•Kenneth Arlen Herrin III, battery – family violence act, three counts third degree cruelty to children: $500 fine, 24 months probation, Family Violence Intervention Program, no contact with victim(s). Charges of second degree criminal damage to property and five counts of battery – family violence act were dismissed.
•Billie Renee Higginbotham, two counts battery – family violence act, simple assault, criminal trespass, interference with 911 phone call: $1,000 fine, 120 days confinement, five years probation, Family Violence Intervention Program and no contact with victim(s). Charges of three counts of aggravated assault and one count of battery – family violence act were dismissed.
•Timothy Ray Metcalf, three counts battery – family violence act, simple assault: $1,000 fine, 120 days confinement, three years probation, Family Violence Intervention Program and no contact with victim.
•Alan Freeman, three counts of sexual exploitation of children: $3,000 fine, 20 years probation, mental health counseling and waive fourth amendment rights.
•Robert Henry Baker, theft by receiving stolen property: five years confinement with credit for time served. A charge of theft by deception was dismissed.
•John Zackery Byrd, two counts battery: $1,000 fine, 12 months probation, no contact with victim(s).
•Adam Blake Dills, burglary: $500 fine and 12 months probation.
•William Ronald Humphries, fraud in obtaining a controlled substance: $1,000 fine, eight years – serve two years suspended upon completion of drug court and waive fourth amendment rights.
•Brandy Michelle Dalton, burglary, theft by taking motor vehicle: $750 fine, six years probation and restitution. A charge of theft by receiving stolen property was dismissed.
•Heather Dawn Griffin, theft by receiving stolen property: $500 fine, four years probation and restitution.
•Trent Renord Bonds, possession of cocaine: $1,000 fine, eight years probation and waive fourth amendment rights. Charges of two counts of sale of cocaine and one count of possession of cocaine were dismissed.
•Joshua Taylor Humphrey, two counts child molestation: $3,000 fine, 15 years confinement, 20 years probation, no contact with victim(s) and no contact with children under the age of 16 years.
•Robert Lafolette Tuggle, giving false name and date of birth: $250 fine, seven months confinement and 12 months probation.
•Mark Allen Truhn, possession of Methamphetamine: $500 fine, four years probation and waive fourth amendment rights.
•Melvin Farr Jr., second degree forgery: $750 fine, four years probation and banished from Jackson County. Charges of two counts of second degree forgery were dismissed.
•Christa Marie Harrison, possession of marijuana less than one ounce: $300 fine, 12 months probation and waive fourth amendment rights. Charges of possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute and underage possession of alcohol were dismissed.
•Gregory Howell, habitual violator: $250 fine and three years probation. A charge of driving without a license was dismissed.
