AN APPARENT drunk driver took off running from an accident before deputies could arrive, according to an incident report from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.
A couple living on Ga. Hwy. 332, Hoschton, said they heard a wreck while they were inside their residence. The husband said he heard a vehicle drive through his front yard and then crash.
The husband saw a Ford F150 in a field across from his house. After he called 911, the husband and wife, and a friend, ran to the vehicle.
When they got to the truck, the driver was still at the wheel. The husband knocked on the window and the driver exited the truck. The driver said he was OK and that his name was Jacob, according to an incident report.
Jacob said he was “doing stupid stuff.” When the husband said he had called 911, Jacob said he had been drinking and couldn’t go back to jail because he had a previous DUI arrest. Jacob also called his girlfriend before running across the field into a wooded area.
A deputy arrived a minute later and was told about the driver running away from the vehicle. Deputies looked for the driver, but couldn’t find him, according to an incident report.
While later searching the truck for an insurance card, a deputy found empty beer bottles in the truck.
Jacob must not have been so drunk he couldn't run away? BUT buddy if it was your truck YOU ARE SCREWED? They don't have to get you that night they can just come to your house and pick you up. You have already stated you were drinking and they found beer bottles in YOUR truck besides that they can charge you with reckless driving, tearing these peoples yard up, tearing up the field you drove out into and stopped, not to mention leaving the scene of an accident?
This is not the first time this school has been under investigation for wrong doing. A civil right investigation when on last year also. False paper work was done then also. I think someone needs to file an appeal. That should scare ol man adams shitless.
jc employee- WHAT?????? Buddy I think you got the wrong story here this one's about the drunk driver running from a wreck?
BUT back to your comment NO I don't think an appeal would bother Adams his skin has gotten so tough from covering up crap he thinks they covered this up pretty well BUT I guess not to well huh Adams?
