Gary Glenn injured in Athens

Jefferson native Gary Glenn was injured Wednesday in a pedestrian accident in Athens, according to the website Access North Georgia.

Glenn, a radio and TV personality in Hall County, was attending a Methodist Church conference when he was struck by a car as the crossed a street in downtown Athens. His injuries were said to be non life-threatening.

Glenn, 57, has extensive family in Jackson County. He is also a former reporter with The Jackson Herald.
