ARCADE leaders agreed to a settlement regarding an undisclosed legal matter at its Monday night meeting.
Following a 20-minute closed session to discuss litigation, the Arcade City Council authorized mayor Doug Haynie to sign the settlement agreement discussed behind closed doors.
Since the matter is pending – and the other side hasn’t yet accepted the agreement – the city wouldn’t comment on the matter.
Haynie said the details would be available when the case is resolved.
“It is still pending litigation,” he said. “It is not accepted by the other side yet, and it is still the policy of the City of Arcade not to comment on pending litigation, so it will be available as soon as it’s finalized.”

It is obvious the police department did not learn anything after being sued by the Dr, for the traffic stop, and has chosen instead, to continue with the practice of illegal actions, such as false arrests, and attempts to cover up evidence of complaints by those who they have wronged. We all have choices. With every choice there is a consequence that follows. It's clear the Arcade City Police Department has made it's choice. And so shall the consequences usher in.
We do NOT forgive.
We do NOT forget.
We are legion.
Expect Us!
