Man injured in alleged assault

A JACKSON County man was injured in an aggravated assault but he would not tell a deputy who attacked him or where the incident occurred.

A deputy with the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office talked with the victim at an Athens hospital but was not able to get details on the assault.
