Theft is among the incidents reported to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office last week.
Incidents reported included the following:
•CD player, cell phone and phone charger taken from a vehicle at a Pleasant Hill Drive, Talmo, location.
•trash can taken from an Apple Valley Road, Jefferson, address.
•battery during a domestic dispute at a Hwy. 441 residence when a man said his wife accused him of cheating on her and cut him on the hand with something and then struck him in the back and leg with a stick.
•tools taken from the back of truck at an Old Gainesville Hwy., Talmo, address.
•copper wire taken from a New Kings Bridge Road, Athens, location.
•someone threw a rock into the front door of a Poplar Drive, Commerce, residence.
•a Wardlaw Road, Commerce, man said his cousin threatened to beat him up over a message he put on an Internet website.
•cushion taken from a swing at an Old State Road, Talmo, residence.
•a Nowhere Road, Athens, man said someone shot an arrow into the front of his house. He said he didn’t know who would do this.
•well house damaged at an Archer Grove Road, Athens, address.
•bicycle taken from a Broad St., Nicholson, residence.
•battery during a domestic dispute at a Lavender Road, Jefferson, residence.
•harassing phone calls at an Old Athens Road, Nicholson, location.
•gas pump damaged at a Broad Street, Nicholson, business.
•electrical wiring taken from a Groaning Rock Road, Commerce, address.
•harassing phone calls at a Johnson Mill Road, Jefferson, residence.
