Woman spots couple stealing from vacant home
A JEFFERSON woman saw a couple stealing a ceiling fan from a vacant home in River Glen Subdivision last week, according to an incident report filed with the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.
The woman said when she returned home, she saw a silver Ford Expedition in the driveway of the vacant home. She said she could see inside the home and spotted a couple using a ladder to remove the ceiling fan. The woman said that when the couple saw her, they quickly ran to their vehicle with the ceiling fan and left.

May be a safe bet to assume this is not their first theft / theft attempt. One fan here, one fan from somewhere else,,,, and an air conditioner, perhaps a stove. It all adds up.
