Couple return from vacation to find home burglarized
A Wheeler Lane, Jefferson, couple returned from a vacation to the beach to find their home had been burglarized.
The couple first noticed that a 55-inch flat screen television was missing from the living room, according to an incident report filed with the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office. The couple began to look through the home and found that 20 guns, jewelry and two laptop computers had also been taken.
The couple found the frame to the back door had been broken which is how the burglars got into their home.
