Children playing with fireworks listed as cause of fire
Children playing with fireworks apparently led to a fire on Wednesday, June 23, on the front porch of a Maysville home.
Units from Plainview, North Jackson and the Jackson County Correctional Institute fire departments responded to 441 Highland Way in Maysville on a reported residential fire. Firefighters found a single-family residence with a fire located on the front porch.
The fire was quickly extinguished and the damage was contained to the porch area. No injuries were reported.

See this right here is one of the reasons you never were able to buy fireworks in GA for so many years and if I was the law I would charge the parents here? They will lock their guns up to protect their kids BUT will leave fireworks laying around. Fireworks can kill you as easy as a gun can.
