Storms moved through Jackson County Tuesday night causing damage through one third of the northern part of the county. The damage was mostly confined to the Plainview community, according to EMS director Steve Nichols.
During the storm, damaged was reported to six structures that had wind damage, two barns and three single family structures, as well as at the fire station in Plainview.

Bravo to Jackson EMC for their response to restore power to that many people so quickly.
