Great article honoring some great men. Wish we knew who, if anyone, could step in to lead as they did.

There are some good folks around, they might just require a little coaching to step up!

There's good men and women now who would love to contribute and continue the excellence of Jackson County, but there is a certain newspaper editor who does nothing but rake muck! Why would anyone serve to their fullest when they have to consistently appease Mike and his whims??

I have to say that if someone who wished to serve was really THAT discouraged over a newspaper editor I wouldn't think they were the right choice to serve to begin with. I'm just saying.....

Great story, Mike. Appreciate you honoring these three men with such a lovely tribute. They were indeed the backbone of Jackson County during their years in office. They will all be missed.
