Three people have been arrested and charged in a rash of thefts over the last two weeks in Jefferson.
Danile Smith, 20, Braselton, Zachary Evanson, 18, Jefferson and Matt Daniels, 18, Pendergrass, were charged in the thefts involving at least 17 vehicles. The thefts reportedly occured in Jefferson, Jackson County and Gwinnett County.
Jefferson Police officials said some property had been recovered.
The initial arrests took place at an address on Jefferson Walk Circle where one of the men charged lived. Several homes were reportedly searched in connection with the thefts.
