MAYSVILLE – Raymond Odell Langston, 56, died Thursday, March 11, 2010, at Athens Regional Medical Center in Athens.
Born in Commerce, he was the son of son of Obe and Laura Belle Langston. Mr. Langston was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Langston.
Survivors in addition to his parents include his wife, Connie Watkins Langston; a daughter, Kimberly Watson, Maysville; son, Christopher Langston, Hawaii; sisters, Phyllis Paul, Friendswood, Texas, Edna Smith, Pearland, Texas, Christine Bray, Clarkesville; brothers, Lamar Langston, Maysville, David Langston, Kennesaw, Bruce Langston, Sandusky, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 15, at 11 a.m., from the chapel of Ivie Funeral Home after which the body will be cremated. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of arrangements.
