‘Bruce’ Hicks

ACWORTH – Joseph “Bruce” Hicks, 59, formerly of Jackson County, died Saturday, February 6, 2010.

Survivors include sons, Joseph L. Hicks and James Hicks; a daughter, April Poss; brothers, Hoyt Hicks, Earl Reed and Gerald Read; sisters, Martha Jones and Rocksy Riddle; grandson, Jesse James Poss; and one unborn grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 13, at 2 p.m., from the chapel of Roy Davis Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Thursday February 11, from 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, February 12, from 4 to 8 p.m., and again Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Mr. Hicks will be cremated following the service.
