An inmate who escaped from a Gwinnett County facility in September has been spotted in Jackson County and law enforcement officers are searching for him. Anthony Eugene Miller escaped from the Phillips Transitional Center in Gwinnett County in September. He was serving a sentence for burglary and theft.
“Sheriff's deputies are following up on leads today in an attempt to apprehend him,” David Cochran reports. “The Jackson County Sheriff's Office will have additional charges on Miller also involving events in attempts to apprehend him.”
Cochran encourages the public to provide any information on Miller and to call the criminal activity tip line at 706-367-3784. Any information provided will remain confidential.
I know about a guy that got beat up by three out of unifom Gwinnett cops and thrown in jail for six months and then set free with no charges. They beat him so bad that the inside of the truck where he got beat up had to be wiped down with towels b/c of all the blood.
It was a case of retribution. Not saying the guy did not deserve it.....just not from the law.
There is more to raising a boy than feeding him and giving him a roof over his head. And from your grammar in your note, it's obvious you haven't had much help either. It's a shame.
The richest country in the world and this is what we produce.
I have made mistakes as all of us have in our lifetime. I also have convicted people in my family. But if they were to break out of prison & be on the run I would convince them to turn their selves in or if they contacted me I would tell the police what I know. Doing this doesn't mean you love them any less but it shows you love them more. There is always consiquinces for wrong doing that everybody has to face & I'm not critical of him by saying what I'm about to say but he made things worse for himself by busting out of jail & running. He was on the run for three or four months & if seeing his son was his intention & then turning himself in why didn't he do that sooner. Or just wait until he had servrd his time & was then released instead of now having to build more time. He was on the run from the police in my neighborhood when he was spotted by JCP officers & had us all scared to death to let our children outside to play until we knew of his capture because when we became aware of the police chasing him it was not known if he was armed or what he would attempt to do to keep from going back to jail. You just don't know. Yes there are innocent people in jail, I have a cousin in jail whom was wrongly convicted, but if you love your cousin/family member & he is innocent as you say, then get a lawyer for him to try to get his conviction over turned & or appeal . This is the leagal way. This is what we are doing for my cousin. And my cousin has been in prison for 23 yrs. if he were to break out & be on the run from the law I would convince him to turn himself in or if I came in contact with him I would tell the police what I knew because it's the right thing to do & I love him.
