Timothy Thompson of Nicholson died in a mobile home fire Tuesday night on Barnett Road in Nicholson. The state marshal’s office is investigating the fire and an autopsy is being done. Officials believe the fire was accidental and that Thompson died from smoke inhalation.

Heck of a nice guy. Tim was the classic shadetree mechanic. A genius with small engines. I went by last week and he got my chainsaw, which hadn't been started in 15+ years, up and running while I waited. He was in a new relationship and had gotten cleaned up more than in the whole 12 years I knew him. Real shame.
