Until recent years, I had never lived in a small town. I have come to love my experience thus far.
It was again solidified as I attended the recent “Freedom Festival” when the small town feel was shared among many.
I was amazed by the spectacular fireworks that could compete strongly against any place I’ve ever lived or visited for Independence Day.
I was proud to live in Jefferson and wanted to thank the organizers of the event and those that worked tirelessly on all of the details (cleaning up before and after, directing traffic, planning the music, fireworks, booths, etc.).
