Ultralight crashes in South Jackson

An ultralight plane crashed in South Jackson deep in the woods off River Road late Tuesday evening.

The pilot was identified as William Larry Stimpson, age 44, and the only passenger was his son, William Cody Stimpson, 22, both of a Nicholson address..

The two men were both injured and taken to an Athens hospital. The FAA had been called to investigate.

I was just wondering if there was a way to get the recording of the 911 call as you know i was the younger william in the accident and my family is wanting the recording my dad and i are doing great i'm back home and my dad is in atlanta at sheperd clinic for rehabilition due to very little movement of his leg and expecting a very good recovery

You can go to scanjackson.com and go to the fire and ems archive and look for the date and about what time and you can ge it there.
