Application for a Modification of Standards from the Oaks at Braselton, LLC. The applicant is the property owner. The property is identified as 5373 Thompson Mill Road/Hall County Tax Parcel 15041 000119. The purpose of the request is to seek a modification from requirements found in Article X - Section 10.1.1(A) of the Braselton Development Code. This code section requires dumpsters to be located behind the building they serve. The property is zoned G-C (General Commercial). The proposed use of the property is a dependent and independent senior living center.

Town of Braselton
The Town of Braselton, A Georgia Municipal Corporation, is accepting sealed bids pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 36-37-6 for the purchase of a certain parcel of land consisting of 1.089 acres, Braselton, Jackson County, Georgia, more specifically located in GMD 1765 Jackson County (see legal description below). No improvements are present on the property.
All bids shall be received by 4:00 p.m., June 25, 2009, at Braselton Town Hall, 4982 Highway 53, Braselton, Georgia. The envelope shall bear the name “Surplus Property Bid” and shall be sealed. Bids shall provide the total proposed purchase price. The highest responsive bidder shall be afforded an exclusive thirty (30) day period in which to close on the property. Bids shall be accompanied with refundable earnest money equaling five percent (5%) of the proposed purchase price in certified funds. Earnest money shall be fully refunded to all unsuccessful bidders and to the highest responsive bidder if the parties are unable to close.
The sealed bids shall be opened on June 25, 2009, at 4:30 p.m. at Braselton Town Hall, 4982 Highway 53, Braselton, Georgia. The Town of Braselton reserves the right to reject any and all bids.

ALL THAT TRACT or parcel of land lying and being in GMD 1765, Jackson County, Georgia, being 1.089 acres as shown on a plat of survey for Town of Braselton by Land Development Surveyors, Inc., registered land surveyors, dated May 4, 2009, and being more particularly described as follows:
