The 1966 addition to the Jackson County Historic Courthouse was torn down Monday afternoon as work began on restoring the building.
The addition had been built for office space, but it never fit the character of the courthouse.

It makes perfect sense in these times. I'm not against spending money on construction if it is for useful improvements, just not for a nip/tuck.
But if times were good, and we had more money than we knew what to do with... (tongue in cheek).
That is not a shot at our local paper only. Media in general is a lapdog to govt. Sure they dog politicians that really screw up but in general that just cut and past press releases from idiot bureaucrats.
