Armed robbery reported at gas station
An armed robber stole a small amount of cash from D’s Chevron on the Commerce Road in Nicholson last week.
An employee at the store said a black female around 5 foot three inches tall wearing a blue bandana came into the store and handed her a note demanding money. The note stated: “Give me all the money and no one will get hurt.”
The clerk said a “skinny white male” then came into the store and motioned for the woman to leave. They both then left the store.
An investigator from the Athens-Clarke Police Department came to the scene and reported that five similar armed robbers had been reported.

thank god jackson county police are there when you need them!praise,praise,praise! I was told there were ten cars in the parking lot withn 2 minutes and they arrested the couple just a little later. once again thank yuo for being there. the clerks husband, steve briand
