A well-known Jefferson couple was killed in a Banks county wreck Friday on Hwy. 63 at Hwy. 51. Killed were Tony and Ann Ianuario, Jefferson. The wreck reportedly involved a tractor trailer and a SUV, but no official details were available Saturday about the cause of the wreck.
The Ianuarios were involved in a variety of civic activities in the area. Tony was perhaps best known for dressing up as "Father Christmas" and participating in programs at churches and other community events. Ann was a Master Gardner and her yard across the street from Jefferson First United Methodist Church was known for its spring beauty.
No arrangements have been announced for the couple.
Tony and Ann were the two most genuine, loving, giving, people I have ever known and I know they made everyone in their lives feel special. May we, as their family and friends let that love produce something in us that carries over to those that we come in contact with and may the love of Tony and Ann live on, in and through us.

Our lives are forever changed by Tony & Ann Ianuario.
We will miss them so very much.
We met them at South Eastern Bluegrass Association (SEBA) that is held on the first Sunday afternoon of every month at their church in Winder. We saw and talked to them this Feb. (snow canceled March SEBA).
Tony worked on our instruments and we love going to Tony's shop.
They will be missed greatly!
Tonia, I look forward to meeting you on Tuesday. Jean and Gary Moon
Words can not express how sorry I am for you. You are always in my prayers but now more than ever. I love you very much.
Love, Tonya
all the activities we attened together.I am
very sorry for your loss.
Tony was a great guy and a great luthier.
I lived across from your parents for five years and never met finer and more pleasant people. We were always on alert, protecting his hand built fence from motorists cutting the corner to sharp. I enjoyed many conversations with them over the years, your family will be in our prayers.
