NJFD gets FEMA grant

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has awarded the North Jackson Fire Department a $79,800 grant.

The funds are part of the Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG), which are given to fire departments and emergency medical service organizations in Georgia. NJFD will use its grant funds for operations and safety, according to FEMA.
