Three vehicles were stolen in Jefferson over the last two weeks.
A Jefferson teenager said he left his 1999 Toyota Tacoma in the Jefferson High School parking lot while he was at wrestling practice on Dec. 8. When he returned at approximately 5 p.m., the truck was gone.
Less than two hours later, another vehicle was stolen. A woman said she parked her car outside of her mother’s residence on Fairfield Drive. The car was gone when she returned. She had left her purse and keys in the vehicle.
On Dec. 10, another vehicle theft was reported in Jefferson. A man said he parked his 1997 Ford F250 at Tabo’s Convenience Store and went inside. He returned a few minutes later and it was gone. He had left the keys on the floorboard.
